RFQ Details

Construct a Fuel Storage/Distribution facilities in Afghanistan. The project will be delivered using a design-build approach. The contractor will be required to perform geotechnical studies and develop the civil and final foundations designs. Concept design-build civil drawings and technical requirements will be provided. Primary facilities include 1, 890 m3l fuel storage tanks, 650m of underground POL pipeline, and a 350 m2 fueling/POL support building. Also included are fueling pumps, fuel truck loading facility and building information systems. Primary facilities for Phase 1 will include 1, 153 m3l fuel storage tanks, with approximately 3, 048m of underground POL pipeline and building information systems. Primary facilities for Phase 2 will include 1, 495 m3l fuel storage tanks, with approximately 808m of underground POL pipeline, and a 350 m2 fueling/POL support building. Also included are fueling pumps, fuel truck loading facility and building information systems. Supporting facilities for all three projects include electric service, water, sewer, gas, paving, walks, curbs and gutters, storm drainage, site improvements and / or demolition, information systems and other ancillary antiterrorism measures.
